With the rise of domestic tourism in recent years, Shenyang, known as a "hidden gem," has been attracting more and more visitors from all over the country to experience its unique "Northeast charm."

Tourists can explore the Shenyang Imperial Palace and Zhang Xueliang Former Residence Museum, stroll through the Xiaohuyang Morning Market and Old North Market, and wander the streets to feel the deep historical heritage and vibrant local customs of Shenyang. Indulge in hearty dishes like big pot cuisine, the sweet and crispy Guobaorou (fried pork), affordable and delicious chicken racks and skewers. The authentic Northeast flavors are sure to satisfy the taste buds of all marathon enthusiasts. Additionally, Shenyang's unique bathhouse culture and exfoliating massages will provide runners with comprehensive relaxation for both body and mind.

This year marks the tenth anniversary of the Shenyang Marathon, coinciding with the Mid-Autumn Festival. The organizing committee will set up numerous cultural performances, cheerleading squads, and music stations along the route, enhancing the cultural charm and vibrancy of the event.

Half Marathon finish area: Shengjing Grand Theatre

Marathon finish area: Tianci Street

Age Requirements

• Participants in the marathon must be at least 20 years old by December 31, 2024.
• Participants in the half marathon must be at least 16 years old by December 31, 2024.

Start Command

The competition will use a two-gun start method. The marathon will start at 7:30 AM, and the half marathon will start at 8:00 AM. If a participant makes a false start, they will not be called back, and the chief referee will disqualify them from the race.

Cancellations

Registration fees are non-refundable once successfully processed. Entries are non-transferable and limited to the registered participant only.

(Ⅰ) Marathon

Route: Hunnan Middle Road (South Gate of Shenyang Olympic Sports Center) - Hunnan West Road (heading west) - right turn to Caixia Street (heading north) - left turn to Nandi West Road (heading west) - straight on Nandi West Road - onto Shengli Bridge (heading north) - left turn to Yangguang Road (heading east) - into Luoshiquan Park (heading east) - straight to Shenshuiwan Park (heading east) - right turn at the east gate of Shenshuiwan Park to Bolan Road (heading east) - straight to Wulihe Park (heading east) - straight to Xinlipu Bridge - onto Xinlipu Bridge (heading south) - down to the dedicated marathon track on the south bank of the Hunhe River (heading west) - straight under Changqing Bridge (heading west) - straight under Fumin Bridge (heading west) - straight into Olympic Ecological Park (heading west) - left turn to the main gate of Olympic Ecological Park (heading south) - straight to Tianci Street (marathon finish line)

(Ⅱ) Half Marathon
